"Just when it seems life at Mythos Academy can’t get any more dangerous, the Reapers of Chaos manage to prove me wrong. It was just a typical night at the Library of Antiquities — until a Reaper tried to poison me. The good news is I’m still alive and kicking. The bad news is the Reaper poisoned someone else instead.

As Nike’s Champion, everyone expects me to lead the charge against the Reapers, even though I’m still hurting over what happened with Spartan warrior Logan Quinn. I’ve got to get my hands on the antidote fast — otherwise, an innocent person will die. But the only known cure is hidden in some creepy ruins — and the Reapers are sure to be waiting for me there …"

Spoilers Ahead

I enjoyed this book quite a bit! I have to be honest, this was probably my least-favorite book of the series so far, because it seemed the slowest and also the book that had the least interesting plot.

I did very much enjoy Gwen meeting Rory and finding out more about her father and his history. That was probably the most exciting thing in my opinion but besides that, the story just didn't grip me as much as the other four books had.

There's really not much else I can say at this point. I am super thrilled at Logan being back together with Gwen, but boy were there times when I really wanted to give that boy a little slap around the face (only in a "wake up Logan" kind of way, don't worry!).

I am interested to see how the ending of this series will happen. I am also incredibly intrigued at what Gwen is going to do with her bracelet that she got from Eir. Is that going to be the way she's going to kill Loki? I guess we'll see!
